Confidence is the character that successful people possess. It is the confidence that builds the determination and leads to accomplishment, no matter you are in school or in work place.

异国他乡、文化差异、语言劣势，让我们刚来来美国的留学生感到最大的落差就是自信。在中国我们是天之骄子，而在美国怎么啥都不是？

在美国重建自信是每个留学生能否transforming自己，能否实现留学梦想的关键。周边看到很多在中国优秀的学生因为没有在国际游戏规则里建立自信，而在美国很压抑地学习和度日。

被埋没的例子太多了，但这不该是回国的理由。既然来了，就要挑战自己，超越自己。不管在哪里都要make to the top. 给新留学生几点自信培养建议：

1. 读好书 - get As and earn respect among your fellow students and professors

2. 发挥特长（业余爱好）- if you are good in sports, or singing and dancing, do it, show it off.

3. 做别人做不了的事、想不到的事 - 美国是崇尚别出新才的地方,or differentiation. Something you do better than others.

4. 和成功的导师和贵人结交 - find your mentors and coaches, these are the successful people who can teach you more than you can imagine in your life.
