The Software Engineer is assigned to specific software solutions and is responsible for providing programming for both product enhancements, and defect fixes. Responsibilities also include:
- Providing input to functional design, testing, and troubleshooting, which can include test scripts
- Developing, testing, and supporting new and enhanced applications, identification and repair of flawed designs, prototyping and development of proofs of concept
- Perform low- level design and provides troubleshooting support and direct support of internal clients (Help Desk)
- Drive Certification of Client Targeted Versions of Operating Systems and solution releases keeping current with our clients’ needs for the solution
- Implements design by utilizing development languages and tools
- Develops and executes Test Plans (Unit Testing) and Test Scripts Ensures the code is scalable and meets performance requirements through performance tuning
- Maintains and protects architecture integrity
- Follows organizational defined code management processes
- Assist with projects related to Healthcare software development for deployment for the DOD
- Requires strong communication skills, SQL database knowledge and analytical skills, knowledge of the application, and system architecture (technical, hardware, software, etc).

Basic Qualifications:
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field from an accredited institution
- Knowledge and experience in object oriented
- SQL knowledge
- Ability to travel 0-10% based on client need
- Live in or willing to relocate to the Waltham, MA area.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: .net, C, C++, MS-SQL or Sybase
- Background in HL7 standards
- GUI programming
- RDBMS in client server environment
