What You will be doing

This role involves working closely with other engineers throughout the product life cycle and ensuring everything moves seamlessly into production while supporting continuous integrations, automated testing, and release management. This position requires strong technical expertise in scripting and coding with an understanding of scalability of breaking down deployments and distributing them across multiple data centers. This person will also be involved in managing small project teams, leading the application releases for production, developing tools, and improving processes.

What You Bring To The Team

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering, release engineering and/or configuration management

• Experience working for an Enterprise Software\Hardware company

• Proven expertise in managing and shipping projects throughout the entire SDLC with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience with application release automation
• Experience Agile Methodology highly desirable

• Experience with Git and Jira highly desired
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages,  particularly Python
• Experience with code signing and build management tools (i.e. make, SCons, ant, etc.)
• Background building C++ and Java applications
• Experience with Unix/Linux and a solid understanding of multiple client OS's
• Prior experience monitoring and alerting systems such as Nagios or Ganglia is a plus
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies is a plus
