Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a dynamic assistant who will work within our fast growing Marketing department to help us drive our marketing programs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative and motivated to work on a variety of communications and marketing projects including tradeshows, executive events, webinars, and budgeting. Some of the day-to-day work will include travel logistics, budget management, meeting coordination, event logistics and production of branded promotional items. If you have a creative mind, a strong work ethic, solid multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, this might be the perfect position for you!
Here is what you’ll be doing:
- Provide administrative support with event planning.
- Help manage and maintain the marketing intranet and Wiki.
- Assist with the production of promotional gifts.
- Track, process and reconcile all marketing invoices with accounting and marketing budget tracker.
- Set up new vendors and issue POs.
- Collaborate with marketing teammates to produce various marketing deliverables such as: sell sheets, landing pages, product brochures, presentations, tradeshow graphics, event invitations, and signage for events.
- Assist with expense reports and booking travel.
Here is what we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of marketing experience preferred
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Previous experience in a marketing and/ or event planning role, preferably in the software industry
- Proven skills in organization and attention to detail
- Intermediate skills in MS Office; Power Point, Excel, Word
- Excellent communication skills with a high regard for customer service and satisfaction
- Must be able to work well under pressure and work well across teams
