Responsibilities

·        Perform architecture design, data modeling, and implementation of Big Data platform and analytic applications

·        Analyze latest Big Data Analytic technologies and their innovative applications in both businessmintelligence analysis and new service offerings

·        Apply deep learning capability to improve understanding of user behavior and data

·        Develop highly scalable and extensible Big Data platform which enables collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of massive data sets from numerous channels

·        Manage application/software development to deliver technology prototypes in support of business assessment

Requirements

·        Over 8+ year’s  experience in Software Engineering with 5+ years in a technical lead/management role of Hadoop management, technical or engineering experience; Knowledgeable about emerging Big Data technologies.

·        Hands-on experience with Apache Hadoop/Hbase/Pig or Mapreduce/Sawzall/Bigtable, etc.

·        Expert command of one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Go or C++

·        Excellent understanding of databases and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

·        Experience with AWS or similar cloud computing platforms

·        Proficient in Agile/scrum team methodology and processes

·        Strong communications skills, both written and verbal in both English and Chinese
