RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop applications in Unix environment using Dialogue, Compart, JAVA, DataStage, and Perl
• Investigate system and programming problems, propose solutions and recommend design improvements for increased efficiency.
• Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed system functionality by working with internal organizations and/or clients.
• Develop technical architectural components in support of business requirements.
• Develop reusable standards for application development.
• Develop test data and performs the unit testing ensuring that the programs perform according to program specifications.
• Handle complex programming assignments.
• Assist less experienced programmers in the coding, testing and debugging of application programs Special short-term projects may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years working with Dialogue, Compart, JAVA, DataStage, Perl in an Unix environment.
• Communicate with different internal areas of the organization.
• Experience debugging code and troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
• Possess effective problem solving abilities and strong analytical abilities.
