The Role: 

We are looking for a talented System Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in NYC. As a member of the DevOps team, you will be joining a small, collaborative team responsible for building, managing, and deploying extensively on Amazon Web Services Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing, modifying, supporting and maintaining AWS-based components for public facing infrastructure, application back-end, and admin / monitoring features

- Maximum utilization of AWS components, services, and infrastructure

- Working to enhance our test, validation, and logging infrastructure

Qualifications:

- Coding ability in Bash and Perl, Python, Ruby or a similar scripting language

- Message Queues (Kafka for example)

- Monitoring tools like Sensu, Graphite, Nagios, Splunk, Grafana, or similar

- Experience with automated configuration management (salt, chef, puppet, etc.)

- Docker, MongoDB, Jenkins, Elasticsearch
