Trustlook is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in the Security group. The ideal candidate will need to have strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, Python. Deep understanding of security is not needed, but a strong awareness in mobile security is required.

Responsibilities

Develop tools for analysis, run-time diagnostics and behavior tracing, and extract command and control data from bots.

Automate malware analysis and unsupervised classification (i.e. Artificial Neural Networks, Deep Learning, etc.) of malware samples.

Develop in mobile devices to document mobile behaviors of particular threats in a lab environment.

Perform forensics on infection environments and provide actionable intelligence to the teams.

Research and remedy False Positive and False Negative detection.

Research mobile samples to improve automatic malware analysis system.

Publish blogs and papers of new malware and vulnerabilities.

Skills & Experience

Strong programming experience in C/C++, Java, Python.

In-depth knowledge of Android framework.

Experience with Behavioral and Static Analysis of Android Malware.

Knowledge of network security issues, of malware landscape and threat families, including mobile malware, vulnerability, exploits and shell code is a plus.

Understanding of Smali/ ARM assembly language is a plus.

Familiar with mobile malware Reverse engineering tools is a plus.

M.S. Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, deadline-driven environment.

Ability and willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned.
