Essential Functions
Consolidate and drive sales forecast working with sales team and provide proactive findings to support short & long term strategic decision making.
Drive forecast accuracy improvement working with sales team and supply chain
Serve as Point Person & Expert for product transition, lifecycle management
Leverage internal and external data sources including point-of-sales, market & internal financial data to create analysis, presentations & recommendations in support of delivering profitable sales growth for our company.
Measure & Communicate all causal influences on sales results; i.e. promotional lift and elasticity, expected shifting due to line extensions, pricing strategy, etc.
Work with Supply Chain to manage weeks of supply inventory and identify opportunities and risks
Drive system changes working with IT to enhance forecasting process, reporting & analytics
Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
Attributes and Skills
Ability to handle large amounts of data & data-mine to draw strategic insights in different formats, with a sense of urgency
Willingness to consistently and aggressively challenge the way reporting & analysis has been done in the past to uncover new & improved ways of operating
Strong detail orientation with proven ability to work quickly and deliver accurate and actionable information working cross functionally with sales, marketing and supply chain
Agility – must thrive in a fluid and changing environment
