Roadie is seeking a Mobile UX Designer to join one of Atlanta’s most innovative, well-funded mobile product teams and continue the growth and development of our app-based delivery service.

The Day-to-Day:

• Design and execute lean, “discount” research studies to gather qualitative data to improve our understanding of User goals, expectations and experiences with our service
• Use quantitative data and analytics to evaluate product features
  Solve problems with a disciplined, iterative design methodology that includes user stories, user flows and pencil sketches as part of the ideation process
• Design collaboratively; participating in regular peer reviews with the design team
• Create beautiful, high-fidelity visual designs that are consistent with Roadie interface and brand guidelines
• Think like a Product Owner, including translating high-level requirements into detailed Product Requirements Documents, prioritizing features, etc.
• Present and sell your design solutions to peers, business leaders and technical stakeholders
• Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with front and back-end engineers to translate designs into fully functioning features
• Work with QA engineers to ensure features are both optimized and stable before releasing to production

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience as a User Experience Designer
• 2+ years as a Mobile UX Designer
• Experience collaborating with designers, data analysts and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Ability to communicate and make business cases to a variety of internal stakeholders
• Adept at solving problems for Users. Make routine decisions as well as sound complex decisions in a fast-paced, technical environment
• Experience planning and executing on both short-term and long-term goals individually and with the team
• Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest mobile UX best practices, UI interface guidelines, techniques and technologies

Plus 1’s:

• MS in Human-Computer Interaction, or related
