Our Infrastructure Engineering team is seeking talented engineers with deep infrastructure experience to come build amazing things with us.  We’re a highly collaborative team of creative thinkers and problem solvers dedicated to crafting simple, flexible solutions to complex, rigid problems.

About the team:

We are a small team of systems, network, and software engineers that enjoy technology and a good challenge

• We are cross discipline - team members have familiarity and interaction with systems, networking, containers/virtualization, storage, security, and datacenter touch points. 
• Team members work closely with software development teams to increase operational visibility and keep infrastructure aligned with development goals

Doing big things

• High throughput (750k requests per second) at low latency (10s of ms)
• TBs of data moving across our data pipeline every hour
• PBs of data constantly churning on our analytics platform

About you:

• 3 or more years in a cloud / infrastructure role with development/automation experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Shell, Python scripting abilities; exposure to the Java/Scala ecosystem a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, isolate, and correct issues end to end
• Even better preventative skills with the desire to continuously build and develop solutions for greater reliability, performance, and supportability
• Familiarity with technologies such as the following; Linux, Bash/Perl/Python, Git, Openstack/AWS, Ceph/Gluster, nginx/HAproxy, DDNS (BIND), DHCP (ISC), Monitoring (Zabbix).  Bonus points for low(ish) latency and distributed computing experience
• Interest in development practices such as source code control, continuous integration/deployment, and configuration management, especially with respect to how they can be applied to infrastructure
