As a Contract Help Desk Coordinator, the primary responsibility is provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action. Your specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide worldwide (US, Europe and Asia) Helpdesk services and support which includes the following and not limited to:
Response to incidents requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, email or internal instant messenger
Diagnosing and resolving incidents or advise users on appropriate action & log all incidents to tracking system.
Identifying and escalate incidents to the right support resources.
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
Configuration, installation, and maintenance services for desktop computers, software and peripherals.
Must work in rotating shift (morning, afternoon and night shifts).
Requirements:
At least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year experience on IT Support and, or Help Desk.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Windows and/or Linux OS platform.
Experience in Networking, eMedia, mobile devices, telephony and printing.
Proficient at multi-tasking with excellent telephone & communication skills.
Good English communication (verbal & written) skill is essential.
Good team player with great initiative and positive attitude of work.
Highly responsible and accountable, dynamic, embracing changes and result-oriented.
