Digital Analytics
The Digital Analytics Group is part of the Analytics and Insight division of MEC and works closely with the planning group to ensure success of online media efforts. The Senior Analyst helps to measure the performance of online campaigns, illustrates clients’ return on investment, and provides insights into improving performance. He/she utilizes various measurement tools and provides timely in-depth reporting, analysis and optimizing solutions. The Senior Analyst is expected to be an active participant on the business, consistently engaged and contributing ideas and insights that will benefit our clients.
We are looking for a Analyst of digital analytics to support the GoDaddy client. GoDaddy’s mission is to radically shift the global economy toward small businesses by empowering people to easily start, confidently grow and successfully run their own ventures. With approximately 13 million customers worldwide, GoDaddy gives small business owners the tools to name their idea, build a beautiful online presence, attract customers and manage their business. This is a fast paced account and we are looking for a candidate that has an entrepreneurial spirit, is biased toward action, and is excited to work on solving challenging business problems with data.
Data Analysis and Execution
- Partners with the digital planning team to create an appropriate measurement strategy for each campaign
- Drives reporting, analysis and insights to reach client business objectives
- Utilizes proprietary tools and third party ad serving technologies to report and analyze clients’ post analysis data
- Observes, evaluates trends of digital campaigns and provides recommendations for optimizing
- Ensures that quality and timeliness of measurement deliverables meet client expectations
- Manages vendors on a project basis to implement measurement solutions as well as single contributor on projects and tasks
Qualifications
- MEC A&I Digital Analytics places significant importance on qualities such as intellectual curiosity, responsibility, determination, creativity, flexibility, drive, and self-confidence. Must be highly motivated with a strong record of professional achievement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative discipline
- 2 years digital media experience, including data analysis
- Must be able to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities (Exposure to analytical course work, a plus)
- Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment; can adapt plans due to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives
- Experience with online research tools such as Nielsen and comScore
- Advanced skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SQL, VBA, SAS, or SPSS
- A knowledge of working with large relational data sets
- Possess a basic understanding of web analytic measurement platforms such as Webtrends, Omniture or Google Analytics
- Candidates with 2 years of experience will be considered
