This position is located at The MathWorks Corporate World Headquarters in Natick, Massachusetts. MathWorks provides relocation benefits to assist with moving to the Natick (Boston Metro-West) area.

Responsibilities

You will leverage your algorithmic, C++, and software architecture skills to design and develop the next generation features and tools for use in modeling, simulation and code-generation of complex multi-domain systems.  Your day to day tasks will include:

• Solving extremely challenging software design problems efficiently and effectively
• Improving our customers' quality of life with creative workflows and tools.
• Collaborating with subject matter experts and development support staff throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Pursuing excellence in all things!

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
• Expertise with C++
• Expertise with algorithm development

Additional Qualifications

• Experience in parallel language constructs or parallelization techniques.
• Experience with compiler implementation and optimization.
• Experience using multiple programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to dive into and work with large code bases.
• Strong abstraction, algorithmic, and software architecture skills.
• Strong communications skills.
