Position Description: 

We are looking for University students pursuing a Computer Science degree who are interested in a 2017 Software Engineering internship on the Mobile team. This team owns the foundational building blocks for the mobile device management, services such as enrollment and authentication, command delivery and scheduling and integration applications. Supporting standard protocol such as SCEP, mobile core team develops Certification Authority services to support client certificate distribution. We primarily focus on writing backend Java code using the IntelliJ IDE. Our ideal candidate is passionate about mobile software development and enterprise mobility challenges and wants to learn and contribute to Okta mobility management services. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Build, test and debug OMM application oniOS and Android platforms 
• Participate on the agile development process and contribute to complete development stories on the scrum team
• Contribute toincrease the unit test coverage on OMM 
• Work with QA to participate/ organize bug bash sessions for OMM
• Contribute to define new end-to-end test case scenarios and help implementing them utilizing existing test automation frameworks

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Experience/familiarity with softwaredevelopment on mobile platforms such as iOS and/or Android  
• Reasonable understanding of network security, encryption, authentication and authorization
• Experience with Selenium,JQuery, .Net, Windows development and Javascript a plus 
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks, software SDK and API driven development 

Education and Training: (In progress) B.S., MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
