The Ground Control team is looking to bring on a creative, strategic, and resourceful teller of stories. You have a passion for storytelling whether it be in the form of writing, photography, drawing, or video. You’ll help us dream up big ways to share information, and will execute on the vision.

Responsibilities:

Produce content for a variety of channels: videos, digital articles, podcasts, and graphics. You can do it all and aren’t afraid to push boundaries.

Act as a team journalist, sourcing information, images, stories and coming up with compelling ways to share them internally.

Partner with teams and executives to create thoughtful written and visual communications.

Experience in an internal communications, or communications, media, marketing team.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

3+ years of design experience; graphic design, instructional design

High proficiency in Keynote

High proficiency and recent experience with Adobe CS6 or higher products, specifically InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat

Proficiency with shooting video using a DSLR or similar camera. Understanding of the basics of composition, exposure and lighting.

A natural eye for multimedia design: layout, style, color selection, motion, graphics, audio.

Follow established styles and guidelines to ensure corporate branding is consistent

Desirable, though not essential:

Experience with web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML

Curriculum development

Understanding of adult learning theories and principles

1-2+ years of project management
