The Position

BioAnalytical Sciences (BAS) develops, implements and provides strategic direction for state of the art bioanalytical methods and automation systems. Our data and expertise enable the characterization of the pharmacokinetic, immunogenic and in vitro biological activities of Genentech biotherapeutics during drug development and throughout the product life cycle.

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join the BioAnalytical Sciences Department. The intern will perform immunoassays to characterize pre-existing antibodies in human sera reactive to glycoform variants of therapeutic antibodies. The intern will have the opportunity to gain further knowledge on Immunology, Immunoassay, and drug development of monoclonal antibodies. At the end of the program, the intern will draft a report to summarize the results and present the outcome of the investigation at both a department meeting and the company-wide intern poster session.
