Description

The human resource coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource process at Nisum. This role acts as liaison between employees, Business partner HR, recruiters, other internal teams and provides various administrative support to human resources function as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage pre-employment administrative processes, background checks, I-9 and E-verify, direct all activities related to onboarding, new hire paperwork initiation tracking/processing.

Onboarding of associates to Nisum, including documentation and handling the orientation program for new hires.

Conducts periodic audits of employee records, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action, to the Business Partner HR team.

Administers health and welfare plans including enrollments, changes and terminations. Resolves benefits related problems and ensures effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations at the organization level.

Assists HR manager in formulating processes and policies

Processing of terminations.

Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.

Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and conducts periodic surveys

Assists HR Manager with organization wide initiatives.

Prepares internal flyers/content for HR communication

Maintain accurate records in Nisum HR drive.

Develop HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.

Update and enhance job knowledge by pro-actively learning from various sources and participating in training opportunities.

Assist HR Team with annual/special projects – Salary revision, Performance Appraisal, open enrollment, companywide events, Training and any other.

Assist recruiting team with updating Applicant tracking system and internal trackers

Help update job posting on internal database and external job boards in a timely fashion

Maintains strict confidentiality of clients, company and personnel information

Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Local travel (SF/Bay area) might be required occasionally

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience
