Genentech Intern - Medical Affairs Operations & Business Infrastructure
The Position
Responsibilities:
- Intern will be assigned to work in various areas of the Medical Affairs Operations & Business Infrastructure team and will learn about the technology and processes supporting customer operations
- Intern will partner with members of MOBI staff and key stakeholders and will assist with tasks pertaining to the specific areas they are assigned
- Intern will perform tasks as directed by his/her supervisor
- Sample projects may include:
- Benchmarking and industry research on needs and capabilities for dynamic content management, search engine, self-service (responsive web/iOS app)
- Development of KPI/metrics dashboards
- Development of gSites or intranets
- Development of other interactive related capabilities like e-training modules, infographics, e-newsletters, etc.
- Data modeling
- Research and identify a relevant current area of information/data strategy and provide recommendations on future areas/initiatives for further exploration based on the current landscape in a final report/presentation
- Familiarity with Medical Affairs processes and related data structure, information needs, and tools
- Strengthen research, writing and visual presentation skills
- Understand the critical role of information/data management in the pharma industry
