The Boeing Company is seeking a systems engineer to join a project team assisting with the development of complex, state-of-the-art systems for space-based applications for commercial and government customers. You will be a member of a high performance systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration and test engineers and senior technologists.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Working with a mentor to develop system-level concepts of operations, perform functional analysis and decomposition to meet end user needs.

•Working with a mentor to develop formal system requirements for satellite system space and ground elements.

•Working with a mentor to develop system designs that satisfy the system requirements.

•Support the definition of system algorithms that meet performance specifications.

•Working with a mentor to conduct trade studies to support the selection of algorithm approaches .

•Serve as a team participant to develop domain expertise for various technical topics.

•Support design review presentations.

•Support system-level integration and test planning and execution, to include functional validation as well as formal sell-off of requirements.

•Support the definition and development of end user documentation.

•Support maintenance and troubleshooting activities related to delivered systems.
