Responsibilities
· Identify key metrics and build exec-facing dashboards
· Perform analytical deep-dives to analyze marketing opportunity, design and execute experiments, research, financial models and other mechanisms to identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities
· Select and structure online and offline combined data when necessary for predictive and prescriptive modeling
· Research latest trends in machine learning. Develop a deep understanding of online media, research models from areas such as automobile, travel, hospitality, finance, e-Commerce
· Build, evaluate and optimize the models needed to provide intelligence
· Package models for use by engineering
· Extract actionable insights through analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional customer behavior data sets
Requirements
· Advanced degree in statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, computer science or related field
· Deep knowledge of R and the open source ecosystem around it
· 4+ years of experience in machine learning algorithms
· 4+ years of programming experience in Python, Perl, Java, and/or C++
· Hands-on experience with Hadoop stack and Scikit-learn
· Bilingual English/Chinese preferred
