DUTIES:
Responsible for computer systems, analytics, and reporting related to Basel. Analyze the quarterly results and validate the numbers with the capital calculation system. This includes creating and validating reports in OBIEE for executive management and regulatory reports (FFIEC 101, FFIEC 102, Supplementary Leverage Ratio, FR Y-14Q, Pillar 3, HC-R Schedule of FR Y9-C, and Variance Analysis). Create, maintain, and validate reporting dashboards. Write SQL scripts in toad to extract large amount of data from the capital calculation system for internal business partners. Perform ad-hoc impact analysis of upcoming regulations and related requests. Analyze Basel III related rule requirements and perform requirements definition/implementation scope for Basel calculations and reporting. Perform implementation planning for Basel capital calculations and reporting. Build capital calculation approach in highly complex capital model and computational system, working closely with technical specialists for implementation. Analyze quarterly capital results to inform management on trends. Support the capital infrastructure, Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFSAAI), Essbase and OBIEE tools and related data models to develop rules and monitor compliance necessary to provide capital calculations and management reporting. Assist in creation of scenarios across asset classes for implementation validation. Query/Extract information from Oracle databases necessary for management reporting. Organize data to create reports and present it to drive decision making. Perform complex analysis of Basel calculation outputs and perform cross checks/validations with other reports. May assist other team members with risk weighted asset forecasting, management reporting allocation analysis. Ensure adherence to data management regulations and policies. Responsible for performing highly complex activities related to business analysis and/or modeling.
REQUIRES:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Communications or a related technical field followed by 6 years of experience in Oracle OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), Oracle SQL, Basel II & III, Analytics, and Oracle Essbase.
Position requires the following experience:
- Basel - understanding Basel data and translating the Basel rules to reporting requirements.
- Oracle OBIEE - building reports, dashboards, maintaining security and administrative work using Oracle OBIEE.
- Oracle SQL - writing complex Oracle SQL code to extract large amount of data from database.
- Financial risk analysis - analyzing financial risk data and informing management on quarterly trends.
- Oracle Essbase - understanding the Essbase data structure outline and members; building reports in OBIEE using Essbase data.
