Job Description:
This position is on the Technical Recovery Planning team within the Global Business Continuity and Recovery (GBCR) group. The candidate will share responsibility for administering the enterprise-wide Standards and Operating Procedures covering technical recovery plans (TRP). The candidate will also serve as a key contributor to the strategic redesign of TRPs and define requirements for enhancements to the application that serves as the system of record for business continuity planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute against internal procedures
- Reduce risk by remediating issues and observations
- Proactively identify emerging risks and control weaknesses
- Conduct ad-hoc project management and execution of continuous improvement work efforts that drive efficiency and strengthen controls
- Develop effective relationships with partners outside of GBCR to obtain broad perspective and influence improved adherence to requirements
- Partner with other teams within GBCR to achieve goals

- Five plus years of direct work experience in relevant field(s), including: Computer Science; Information Technology; Risk Management; Quality Assurance or Control; Process Improvement; or General Business.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Business Continuity (2+ years preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel proficiency
- Process mapping, preferably in ARIS
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge and experience with Bank standards and procedures
- Technical experience, including one or more of the following: application management, infrastructure design, server or network operations, data/information management.
- Bachelor degree preferred in relevant field including Computer Sciences, General Business, Engineering.
Enterprise Role Overview:
Provides consulting on corporate business continuity topics to clients. Demonstrates business and/or technical acumen to recommend and implement solutions that protect the bank's assets. Participates or lead business continuity initiatives and ongoing process activities (plan development, testing, event management and progress reporting/measurement). May provide business continuity subject matter consulting support in audit and regulatory matters, as needed. May work under close or minimal supervision with guidance from manager or team lead.
