Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, oversee and provide leadership for ABE program services (GED, ESL, EL/CIVICS, workplace literacy, bridge projects, family literacy etc.).
Prepare grant and budget applications/reports.
Monitor and administer multiple budgets.
Oversee coordination of outreach sites, including financial management, hiring and training of personnel and evaluation of services.
Hire, supervise, evaluate, and train full-time and part-time ABE Center staff and instructors.
Participate in strategic planning with State ABE staff and other regional coordinators.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Education, or closely related field.
Experience in planning, organizing, directing and controlling multiple projects and events.
Develop and evaluate programs.
Grant writing and budget management.
Hire, train and supervise employees.
Familiarity with Adult Basic Education services.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Public Administration, Adult Education or closely related field.
Three years' experience in an Adult Basic Education setting.
